57 per cent of Singaporean men believe that the promotion of women's equality has gone too far, to the point that men are experiencing discrimination.

In comparison, 39 per cent of women feel the same.

Overall, 48 per cent of Singaporeans shared such a sentiment, according to a study carried out by market research company Ipsos.
