i work for win win solution and try to resolve issues. they go on attack/defense mode all the time trying to pick at all your little faults.

when they screw up u tiam tiam, give them face, hope they dont come attack u nxt time, afterall, people make mistakes

but once they get upper hand again, they will find ways and means to pin everything on u
