My parents using iphones since iphone 6 era til now iphone 15. Partly due to security issues too but also easier to use since less customisation haha

Nothing wrong also. Use gao gao til the phone spoil. Can easily use for 7 yrs and more with a battery change in between of cos

Maybe security issues loh if no more updates for it. I believe most ppl use phones for banking stuff nowadays so that's the risk

But if use for more than 5 yrs, I think also time to change lah especially if there is no more sw support for it. The hardware I think also cui liao by then. Also, maybe old features are obsolete

Eg. my parents change from iPhone se 2020 to iPhone 15 for usb-c, face id, overall bigger screen and battery. Iphone se touch id and lightning port is kinda obsolete

Maybe ipad better cos sync everything for me but it has no 120 hz but this one i like the 120w charging. Very fast full batt. Maybe 10 mins if charge from 60%

Then can't use
Eg. WhatsApp will say needs to update to latest version to use but software doesn't support cos can no longer update
