last time in 1973 my aunt got my place for $9,500. today it costs 350k upwards for the same small place

today i asked a colleague who retired....... i asked her pay in 1975 or 1980 is how much she said is 750 wor

so last time u theoretically can work 1 yr to buy

now is almost 100x more........ let's say uni degree but super lousy score starting pay 3.5k or diploma v good results 3.5k

to buy the same flat which is left with 50 yrs lease u need 100 mths of pay

last time u need roughly 12 mths of pay

my gen would have been barely able to survive if get married young and bought flat young or super thrifty (before 30)

those marry late or nv save or work for low pay

better to die, that's what govt wants us to do. for this i really hate this govt and we need to make them pay tbh

a lot of stupid boomers very happy their flats sell high price. but it only benefits boomers who are dying. lets say ure 40s or 50s who can live 20-30 yrs more. if u sell a flat now, as if u dont need to buy another. unless u want to downgrade and move away lah
