It is my belief that NO ONE actually fully recovers from a break up.  No one.

When you are born, you have 100% of your heart.  That is why you can promise friendship till death so easily.

But as years go by, people betray you, leave you etc and the part of your heart that you give to your friend, dies as well and NEVER RECOVERS.

So what happens is that as you grow older, maybe you become more relaxed in bgr or even marriages etc and become less trusting.  People will say in a nice way you have become wiser but I believe it's because your heart has become harder because of all the dead spots of all previous failed relationships.

So no one really recovers.  A part of you dies each time a relationship ends.  And that is why you find it harder and harder to enter into a new relationship with the same enthusiasm and optimism as the very first one, regardless of age.

I think if u vested a lot of emotional feelings or done lot more for a rs u tend to need longer to get over
As we age we tend to move more quickly and try to learn more abt compatibility and mutual feelings before we invest a lot of emotions and energies so that helps us move on more if the other don't choose us in e end ..
we r also hurt more n more bgr experienced so tend to be a bit more callused ?

It's not harder to get into rs but we quickly dismiss or check off red flag or green flag w each encounter so we quickly know within shorter n period of time who r possibly compatible can know more
Who r 60-80% buay compatible can move on kinda thg

I also agree abt you nv really recover but you healed that part but it become a bad segment and u avoid trying to read write over it
And it becomes a scar tissue in your life
