What did I just read? MOM really lub FTs! Replaced PMET sinkies with higher Salary right? Earned points for COY. Welcome FTs....need to earn higher salary than Sinkies for EP, at least $5600.... financial sector $6,200.

Starting September 2024, Singapore will implement a points-based system to evaluate EP applications. This system assigns points based on several criteria:

Salary: Applicants earn points if their salary exceeds that of local employees in similar roles.
Education and Skills: Points are awarded based on the candidate's educational qualifications and professional skills.
Diversity Contribution: Points are given if the applicant's nationality contributes to the firm's diversity.

Doesn't make sense.  A company exists to make money.  So why should it pay a new worker (FT) more money than a local just to earn points?

The fucking system is broken. Esp towards msians.

U see how many jiuhu vehicles in sg now. Im sure u all noticed the trend. Now my guess is for every 7 to 8 sg cars there is a jiuhu car

Rly the govt must come down on msians. We must make this an election topic.

They game our hdb and jobs and everything but they want to game us for their vep, sez, rts and makan us everything.

This cannot go on. This govt is being played by msians and their govt. If they dont do something to stop it we must kick pap out. Its too much

Sinkie pwn sinkie at its finest. Worst still treating malaysians like our citizens whilst treating fellow sinkie born citizens badly. Already kena multiple times riao. How the sg born team lead or manager side with malaysian colleagues over fellow sg colleagues.

Being in a regional management role last time, moi went for interviews in the late 2000.Experience & education totally right fit. Didn't get the job. MNC Coy Wayang shows interviewed & rejected local. PMETs jobs r not even a rocket scientist talent job tat can't find sinkies, sinkie can do PMETs job & even cheaper(underpaid sinkies) than Ang mo. Imagine a regional management sinkie paid less than $10/mth but the coy vacancy is paying more than $10/mth. Why can't a local get the similar job? It's just office or management job. Worse now not taken by Ang mo but filled with jhks, cecas.....where they are clueless & education & experience r worse than sinkies, oso inexperienced handling asean countries. Sinkies can actually handle PMETs jobs.

Many MNCs companies actually hv hiring budget when hiring people for the job. We had been sold by press to compete cheaply with less developed countries (jhks, cecas, ATs..) where most of them come from  uni worse than NUS/NTU or even worse than SMU. They hv also lesser experience since we were industrialized first. Since when u hear our PM or minister selling us as talents?

the funny thing is these foreigners are well paid in sg
meanwhile singaporeans are underpaid
disliked by HR people also
resume abit abit also cannot, reject, throw into rubbish bin etc

while foreigners use their crap shyt also can get the jobs
