It's was about 8pm and I was walking behind city square to the BAZAR. Iirc there was a soccer match that night.  Think it's Thailand vs Malaysia or something.  So I was walking and the pavement was dark

A man walked towards me.  I thought nothing about it until he u turn behind me and started following me.  I entered a movie theatre nearby and pretended to look like I want to buy a ticket but at the corner of my eye, I saw the guy waiting outside.  It was an Indian movie theatre so I guessed he knew I won't be watching any movie

I got out and continued walking.  He followed.  I stopped at a parked car and looked through the window like looking inside the car but i was looking at the reflection and I saw him standing there.

I turned around and gave him the philipkee smile while holding my back pocket where the wallet was.  He smiled at me and then walked away.

I did not go to the BAZAR in the end but went to the nearest crowded coffee shop for coffee and watched the soccer match before returning to my hotel next to city square

Bro thanks for highlighting. It's a close shave luckily the guy didn't continue further...luckily u are unharmed. I wan to explore jb for around 4 days and plan to stay near ksl. Am considering between homestay 21 and V hotel. Homestay 21 a bit lok kok but it's nearer to ksl, price difference around $8/night. V hotel is so much further not comfortable to walk alone at night, however the bed looks nicer.

I plan for stay in Sekinchan (3night) and jb (4night) in 2 mths time as a reward for myself.
