Similar threads kept getting locked in HWZ preventing discussion on this.  Yes if it goes out of hand, maybe the offender should be banned or post deleted but I think discussion on this should be allowed?

You can lock but it's not just an issue of feelings.  Something is happening and locking will just stop people from knowing what is happening meaning it can keep spreading.  Of course it depends on how people reply as well.  If they use it as a platform to spew lies then delete the offending post by all means
