actually i notice a lot of singaporeans who go to australia are like that. very less local friends unless you are gay and/or very sociable and outgoing.

my friend who has been in australia for at least ten years only post pics of him with mostly asians. i guess only his kids would have more local friends.

i am pretty sure most of the aussies would rather us not be there, stealing jobs and their lands. 

and also, what can we talk about with them? culturally so different. and don't have shared experiences growing up. cannot talk NS, childhood memories... politics... does not help that my friend is not into sports.

but of course he is prob living an easier and more relaxing life than most of us. lol

but as u live longer there, u just make friends everywhere ba. but maybe cause i was in Uni, easier to do it. i still chat with my amdk/amdl friends daily on discord. jjww gong jiao wei.

end of the day, i think u need to be open minded and willing to assimilate for ppl to want to kawan kawan with u. if u always got ur 'own way' of doing things, ur own lifestyle etc. then very hard lah. ppl would rather just bo chap you.

when talk to ang moh,
talk about work, holiday, child care. school, kids etc.

when talk to sg
talk about sg, cars, etc

but chiu will see that alot of ang moh also migrant cum from other areas.

last time i jin close with a group of Hispanics cause i piak football with them

i close with a group of white peepur cause moi catholic, go church join church group there

asian, i close with some HK/TW/HK peepur cause we all into cars here and there

he used to be very rude and obnoxious. then got banned and disappeared for a long time.

came back totally changed and just kept spamming sex offence news and other stuff.
