Keep grinding and grinding

Now change to this cpf life, like annuity or sth?

If u die and no close ones u wont even get to enjoy anything

Nxt time they may shift it even more, transfer to ur children cpf

I was saying they might allow dual citizenship. So it will lock ur cpf more... still same rule unless u cancel sg citizenship

So those semi rich, upper middle that still needs cpf somewhat incl new citizens get screwed.

Cannot withdraw

i got family member, work like dog and finally retired in his 60s, found out got cancer and died within a year. didn't even get to enjoy his retirement, be a grandparent, or touch his cpf.

Trust me ~ I'm a quitter

I heard retirement age shifted doesn't affect people who wanna retire early. It's to protect elderly who still wanna work and wouldn't subject to paycut due to retirement age. Is this true?

Depends on how you wanna spin it.  If you wanna continue working, it might benefit you but what if you don't?

What if you wanna work but company doesn't want you to work?  It's easy to force you to retire by simply scheduling you for a medical check "out of concern".  Very unlikely you will be in the pink of health at 60+

Does increasing retirement age affects cpf withdrawal?
From my limited understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, if the person wanna retire early can go ahead. If the person wan to retire late, then this can potentially prevent them from kena retired and cut salary. Especially if they work in govt sector.

If the govt delayed cpf withdrawal in tandem with delayed job retirement then is a nono rah. People should have a choice when do they wanna retire and not affecting their cpf withdrawal
