interesting. i have seen people saying that Singapore is now very well-connected so no need stay near MRT.
but i don't really believe that cos to take feeder bus or LRT to and fro need about another 30mins daily. Most prob more if you factor in waiting time and walking. maybe 40mins?
so must add another 40mins daily if not near MRT?

dun listen to those cb words
as more mrt stations appear, more bus services disappear, reason being mrt is more than enough but their cb brains didnt think theres more roads than rails, hence many places even mrt cant access

The time spent travelling within the neighbourhood by bus/lrt is easily 20 mins (inclusive of waiting time) before arriving at the mrt station.

If you want to alight directly at Woodlands custom, take 950 at the
non-aircon bus interchange..
Alternatively, go wait between Berth 11 and 12 for 911/911T and 856 respectively at the
aircon bus interchange. Board the bus that comes first. These buses go to Woodlands Train Checkpoint..from there, you can walk to Woodlands custom (abt 6 to 8 mins walk)
