Title: Why so many road/cable works??

dig, cover, and dig again, then cover... all the non-stop roadworks.

any civil engineer here? is it because of new buildings nearby that's why they dig the hole and redo the cabling?

higher population need moar elec so dig up leeplace with thicker cable  :flash:

Need to spend the budget else no where else to spend later govt cut budget on that specific department. They rather waste money than cut budget. Repair road can get away with reasons like renew to prevent wear n tear.

Now it took a long time to complete even a simple project. This is the main issue.
