the difference is the prestige and stability - if u become MP like TPL suddenly ur IQ + charisma + power x 100

if lose elections then no choice they can be appointed to board of dunno smlj kwok holdings or whatever smaller SMEs as director at most lor. in rare circumstances the bigger ones like what SATS catering, ST engineering

if get MP means will get more chance to 捞 more oil water

bribery, corruption is crime but this one is damn fucking gray area

u see tin pei ling every few mths jump 1 job - similj grab diversity position, corporate governance or govt relations
