They just left everything in our living room and porch. Cause hubby didn't want to pay them another S$400plus just for moving up stairs.
The worst moving experience so far. We have to sort out the mess ourselves.

This time is Malay movers. Sigh, don't want to quarrel since Hari Raya coming and they r fasting also quite poor thing.

Ceiling leaks are common problems for landed. Had them in JB house and prev Sg terrace too. No need to replace whole roof lah. Tomorrow going to JB to get quotes to fix the problem.

Really is tree roots getting into the pipe and choking the drainage of the toilet. Need to remove the tree to prevent problem from recurring.

Now the S1 plumber hacking the underground choked pipe. To clear choke , replace pipe (S$850) and change toilet bowl
(S$400), overlay tiles (S$400). and use machine earlier ($250). Altogether S$1900.

It is previous condo neighbour that is no good.
Landed neighbours so far very private usually and not much problems.
Only next door one complain our tree encroaches into their space and a lot of leaves and flowers for them to clear daily.

Aiyoh, I don't wanna encourage him. He thinks he is Mr Handyman for everything. Not that I don't appreciate that but sometimes I think he overestimates his handyman abilities. Also, he wants to prune trees and climb ladder to do it. I get worried as he has AF and going for cardioablation. Sometimes his AF can be very fast like 190/min and he gets giddy and breathless.
The other day brought him to RH A/E when he had cold sweats and turned pale and giddy in the hawker centre. Turned out to be vasovagal syncope as his BP was a bit low.

4.Get new dining set, sofa and kids' bedframes

6. Do backyard ceiling to waterproof and paint pillars

11. Paint the pond rocks and buy koi fish

All together less than S$30k, still within budget.

In the end , Dentist waive consult, CHAS and company discount cannot use.
Told he needs to remove wisdom tooth (S$200 plus) and do crowning (S$1500 plus) for cracked molar tooth. has appt tomorrow 3pm to do extraction. But no caries leh, only food trapping and gingivitis.
Luckily arcoxia 120mg relieves his pain. getting augmentin antibiotics for him.
Dad wants him to do in JB or NDC but he doesn't want.

Gotta cement bottom part of pond as there is a hole with soil coming through.

Feeling very poor, still gotta pay car insurance and road tax.

This time around, we bought from Milan furniture in JB for our round marble 8 seater dining set with turntable and half leather L shaped sofa.
Now my only dowry furniture left which is the teak dining table, we put in the backyard. Hopefully rain splashes doesn't spoil the wood.
My hubby bought it from a Caucasian who returned home.
Other dowry was the teak cupboard, too big for our prev condo, we left it behind in our rental unit last time. Wasted.

We also returned and got refunded our toilet motor blind after using it for 4 years as it had a 5 year warranty.

Then, gotta pay S$109 application fee for Graduate Diploma in Mental Health. Later S$7k plus if accepted. But company will sponsor and refund me in Feb next year if my performance good. If not MOH also subsidises 80% and can claim Skillsfuture credit also.
Hope they accept my application and pray that I can tahan the Sat afternoon lectures for 6 mths. It is a one year parttime Graduate Diploma. Dunno if can get pay increment for passing though. But I think my S$500 pay rise is due to my applying for it.
Hoping to get Full Reg and higher pay soon too. Next review is next month. Keeping fingers crossed that I won't get anymore patient complaints and my supervisor can pass me.
