Pap makes and breaks the constitution as and when they want.

It is a farce by now.

This is what happens with decades of utter pap rule and oppression.

if Singapore adopted proportional representation instead of FPTP plurality, PAP would not even achieve 2/3 majority in slightly over half of the elections...

1959 - 54.1% (simple majority, no 2/3 majority)
1963 - 46.9% (hung parliament, no 2/3 majority)
1968 - 86.7% (2/3 majority)
1972 - 70.4% (2/3 majority)
1976 - 74.1% (2/3 majority)
1980 - 77.7% (2/3 majority)
1984 - 64.8% (simple majority, no 2/3 majority)
1988 - 63.2% (simple majority, no 2/3 majority)
1991 - 61.0% (simple majority, no 2/3 majority)
1997 - 65.0% (simple majority, no 2/3 majority)
2001 - 75.3% (2/3 majority)
2006 - 66.6% (depends)
2011 - 60.1% (simple majority, no 2/3 majority)
2015 - 69.9% (2/3 majority)
2020 - 61.2% (simple majority, no 2/3 majority)

yet, for all 15 elections, PAP won supermajority in parliament
