u mean renew the house? ya very very old house. bought in 1985... built in 1973
last time we repainted was >10 yrs ago or at least around there.
im not sure needs 2 coats or not....... planning to take some time off for my mind to unwind by clearing up the place, including outside, donating/giving stuff and throwing stuff.
my mum's wardrobe is damn old, the other time i threw away their old bed. the wardrobe now use scotch tape to tape the doors coz the formica all come off
then im not sure if i should throw the dressing table... probably will keep it at least a few mths first... going to re-do my parents room to become a study room or buy another bed nxt time. now will put the new PC, a new wardrobe that's about it
then my living room also repaint... my current room dont know want to repaint or not
the kitchen whr u hang clothes that part, the whole paint peel off
actually my house the dustbin is under the washing basin
the wooden door housing it also wrecked a long time ago. then the so-called newer windows which we did about 12 yrs ago or something
my cousin's bf then did the job
fucked up job. the window at kitchen cannot close. then the part above the window actually cracked. i only use the what..... plaster or what u call it to save it aesthetically
the whole thing cui need to redo windows i think. im not sure current price actually but should be 3k if redo that windows and the current windows in my room
if really renovate parts that require renovation (my kitchen floor got 1 part is hollow one)
i guess chao chao 15k
not going to spend that money....... hope will enbloc since it's just right nxt to MRT
but still going to spend a lot like around 5k+ painting the place and buying the pc and buying a new wardrobe and maybe.... just maybe a new full length mirror in living room
then maybe need toyogo also. but maybe not now
my 15k guess is redo the kitchen floor (dont know how much, anyhow guess. coz need to remove the fittings to redo the floor, not possible this part will probably exceed 10k already). redo the windows (3k)
painting full house if 3 room i think they say need 3 cans of paint (this one i do myself
i think the current fittings if redo the kitchen cabinet confirm 死. might as well buy a new flat but old flat with so many problems very hard to sell. of course will have buyers if cheap and since so near MRT but it's under my dad's name now
sian i keep searching sers but my side totally nv say anything

Ya sentimental. I do feel bad but 真的 no place for old 3 room. I can of course put the pc in my room but i wish to change my working/learning/biz habits... as in my room rly more for sleeping and light working while the other room is for serious work and planning and studies
Toyogo type of storage box pls buy from taobao. Will save quite a bit of money. One toyogo box is very expensive nowadays. Shopee toyogo also not cheap.
Hdb allow to help dispose 3 items every month. The issue is they cannot step into the house. The item at least must be at doorstep, one person alone very hard to move big item to doorstep.
If u discreetly pay the bangalas do for u. They should be able to come in and help u clear the items. Done that before.
You wouldn't be able to start painting if u have a lot of things to clear in your home. Aiming for this or next month a bit unrealistic. U can plan it say 6 mth later.
Example, to clear your broken wardrobe, u need to clear the things inside wardrobe first, needs a lot of planning.
So many painting services in carousell.
Look for one with good reviews to do. I dunno 5litre of paint can cover how much of surfaces... Usually painting services cost a few hundreds in carousell, for a 4 room flat, u see if worth the effort to do on your own or not. Do u have ladder?
One good way is post your donation on carousell let them come pick up.
Usually free items will be gone very fast u wan to declutter do it soon.

Yes for the size that I buy, taobao is 1/3-1/4 of the toyogo price. But toyogo quality is better. The plastic that I buy not very thick. So there is still a difference in quality too.
Or u can try shopee for slightly cheaper price compare to brick n mortar shop
