I admire ppl like Steve Wozniak and Eduardo Saverin
Made their pot of gold and decided to take life easy, enjoy life to the max. They dun hanker after power and fame anymore
i don't understand people like musk and jobs. billions of dollars to enjoy more than three lifetimes, but still doing all the bad stuff to people in order to get even richer/more powerful.
how many luxury watches do you need? how many supercars can you drive? how many big houses do you need?
i really don't understand. is it for power or just the pwning feeling that they crave?
sometimes its no longer money but power to make or break others

I duno about pinky or other rich ppl but Wozniak is admirable
During his era he's already so enlightened. Left Apple when his vision dun align with Job's. He's a nerd thru and thru but know how to make money, enough to be even rich by any standard

Imo it's indeed power, fame and recognition
There are many low profile millionaires even in sg. Many of them are sme bosses, we duno them nor do they bother to be known. However, some rich dudes like musk and bezos who are already so well known yet they wanted more. Hence they do many nonsense to make their mark
No limit to greed. More greed = higher inflation

end of the day, its not just the rich or super rich but ordinary ppl also
i had a friend very enlightened and living a life full of love.... he comes back to sg, work a few months and bring all the money to the philipines to build schools and provide for the poor children
thats a form of enlightenment also
