Used to buy 6 pieces at one go, 15 years ago. Ham and mushroom bread with mayo.
I had to work 26 hours shift. So I ate 2 pieces per shift.
It was $1 back then. Now $1.80 at swee Heng.
My boss thought I'm a weirdo.
Ever since I stopped working that kind of shift. I stopped buying this bread. It was delicious. It felt just it was just yesterday. I didn't eat for 15 years but I can still rmb the taste. Hah!

It's combining first day 12pm-10pm afternoon shift, night on call and next day 7am-2pm shift.
At night we sleep in workplace if no case (on call). But sometimes throughout the night we have case thus no sleep, need to work and morning still need to continue our duty as usual. Even if no case also cannot sleep well. I do not want to go through that again if possible ...
Fortunately this on call only last one yr when I joined before it's scrapped totally from my department. Bad for health.

But fortunately. My current job workload is only 1/10 (max) of my previous job workload, with increased salary. I have enough time to rest and recover. I'm not complaining.
