This land cost bs again

That's what public service should be for right? I'm not saying everything should be free but it should be made as cheap as possible eg. library is free despite located in shopping malls, public tpt and hospital should be heavily subsidised etc

And weirdly no mention of opportunity cost of nsf?

It's like parents charging their children from birth for the rent of their bedroom. They could have rent to outsiders for a profit
As parents, they are obligated to make such "loss"

Gov is obligated to take care of citizens too. Not saying hdb should be free, hdb can even make a profit by making up % after raw material, labour cost etc but factoring in landcost is bs

Public housing but price of resale leave it to mkt forces then peg price of bto to surrounding resale hdb

Gov is 100% in control but dun want to do anything. Then when it comes to global issues, they claim they are not in control

this fucking pap has gone rogue, too much focus on GDP, even XJP said so.

they no longer care about the citizens, only want to increase GDP at all costs. Even if citizens are feeling squeezed be it spatially or financially, while they all stay in their cosy landed enclaves or high end condos and collect millon dollar salaries.

Govt not in control then why need govt? Like that might as well do away with Singapore's sovereignty and merge with Malaysia.
