My ex-colleague once mentioned... She will use money to control her parents. I never ask in detail how will she control parents with money. Just find her ridiculous for saying so.
Fast forward 10 years later. I feel bad to say. I am agreeing with her to a certain extend. Using money to control anyone is sad, what's more own parent. It is the last resort cos the person is not cooperative and only listens to money.
It's sad when using money to control parents.
Usually I give to enable them to buy daily snacks for enjoyment. Now even I want to, they no longer around now. Tats even sadder. *sad*

Yes I definitely love giving my parents money to buy good food to eat and buy good stuffs.
It comes to last resort when one becomes uncooperative at home, I threatened to stop working (no income) just to be at home and make sure my parent don't bully the other.
