Was in tis situation in the 2010. Tighten belt, no meals in restaurants and no yearly tour.
Quit w/o a jod, many interviews (with wayang FT underqualified heads) yet unemployed for a few yrs surviving on
rental income only & no dual income. Depressed period.
Usually after interviews, easy to get jod based on moi experience & qualifications. Hence moi knew & tot the white paper starting to have effect on moi then and now oso on many Sinkies. So, dont ever think the 6.9million white paper will not affect Sinkies livelihood, even those in CS will soon not be spared.
Workplace filled with more and more FTs & FWs, can you handle that? If chiu can go thru same as moi, then quit without a job.

Next Job will be perceived as worse mainly because there's a very high chance of working with foreigners, especially Malaysians.

years ago i went to do a second degree in kumputer science, then the IT hype came into sinkieland, every 2-3 months ill spam job applications, go interview, sit for coding test, then demand high high celery. sometimes tio, sometimes reject. but every time they offer, moi think here think there, jitao turn down cause i scared to leave my comfort zone in my current job.
