Post by: Keeptrucking on Nov 27, 2024, 03:10 PM
a lot of mine aren't but pap always win even though their margins have been sliding.

i suspect it is due to the influx of a lot of foreigners and the strong women boomer votes.

my late mum always voted for them. father last time also, before he go nursing home

my father quite smart leh though he not highly educated....... lol... i told him why hang SG flag. that is like supporting PAP

he told me and my mum that supporting country is not supporting PAP

my mum came over from china in 1950s..... she said last time CCP very bad to them so in contrast PAP is good. i got quarrel a few times with her over this

but then i realised she is not wrong to vote for them, it's our own choice. PAP was really good to her generation and the merdeka generation

they are only not good to those born like after 1975 or 1980 because of their shit policies resulting in everything going up but pay

even tho i know he keeps scolding PAP he only votes PAP

Yes and yes.
I haven't met an Oppo party supporter friend irl. Ground sentiment doesn't necessarily predict their vote. They complain about something that the govt didn't do well does not mean they will vote for the opposition.
