Indeed. Used to buy flagships too until flagships hit $1k mark. No way I'm paying $1k for a phone but apple and Samsung provide 7 yrs of software support so still alright I guess. A series is 5 yrs but $500 for 5 yrs... Can't complain too

A series is popular in 3rd world countries I guess. In sg most ppl still blindly go for flagships. Samsung should nerf the next A series haha

What s series features you want?

Enjoy your last year of A52. Software support ending soon I guess?

Mkbhd compared A54 to S23 ultra and his conclusion is A54 is 78% of S23 ultra which is damn impressive. I dun want to pay 3x more to get the 22% " improvement"

if possible use phone for work instead of computer.
means my phone will have doc, excel, pdf, photo, video etc
screenshot of bank's transaction, sgpool bets etc
mp3 songs, various emails, various messaging
and then change phone easier

Ideally the phone OS should have a desktop mode when docked/connected to an external monitor. no need for a computer to do light to medium tasks( word, excel, pdf)

Been using Samsung since 2017. All A series thou, so far so good. No green lines, nv went to svc center before for any of them.

I think phones in this era are generally good enough be it hardware or software. I believe only difference is software support only. Some brands still give 3 yrs of support only.... Geez

Thanks. Seems like quality rather good. 3 yrs support mean they hv no confidence in their products. The longer coy can give means they hv confidence in their quality  :s12:

Imo, ideally should be 5 yrs. Anything more also kinda meaningless. Battery can be changed easily but hardware wear and tear, software can't keep up. Maybe there are some new tech and features by then too. But I'm not complaining, afterall >$1k is not a small sum
