I realise many ppl struggling to achieve $500 minimum spend per mth, including me. Surprisingly frugal.
I was considering ocbc360 account and additional interest rate needs $500 minimum spend
I easily hit yearly min spend
Min spend will entitle u to what? Otherwise wont give u % interest?
Usually i thought last time min spend is for more atas cards
U put billing to your card like insurance, phone, pub bill etc lor?

Heard giro, payment of bills via axs is not counted.
If hit $500 minimum spending for the month, entitled to 0.6% extra of interest rate. Also not much actually.

Buy vouchers lor. But later u also got to spend the voucher. Ppl buy that to sell but not rly worth it if u factor in time and effort

Pay by credit card can right? Means auto deduct from cc every mth
I exceed min spend easily every mth. At least 2k spending, sometimes up to 6k.

Tiagong cannot. I will go check it out
Anyway it's probably only max of $50 additional into the added interest. Really not worth the effort
Voucher, not very sure. But if have to buy vouchers every mth to cope with the minimum spending... Will be unsustainable
I need to control my CC spending

Eh no... The minimum spending is a requirement for an additional interest rate ocbc 360. Haha. if no hit, no interest nia.

My first rule of thumb for anyth is
Buy only what I need
Not what seller needs me to do
Exception is voucher due tmr , and more than 10.00
So nthg also diedie must try to thk of something to buy
I hv bought books 📚 which aren't v urgent needed and nv read much
And pots pans for mom which she don't know but I don't hv need but got a voucher fr some lucky draw or some gift mybfd need to gift her to spend

Interest rate for ocbc360
Additional 0.6% interest for your savings
Try not to have this mindset of having to hit minimum sum per month to get additional interest/cashback for your cc..
Dun spend for the sake of spending..if there's really nothing to buy, dun force it.
CheerS!!!😉

Yes I agree totally. Don't buy for the sake of achieving CC minimum 👍

if only you could 'borrow' some of my work-related spending to meet minimum
2-3 nights of hotel on work trip can already cross 500 SGD
