No need lah. I think warranty mostly cover the motor only. Anyway, most appliances the warranty is only a yr. If spoil also won't fix, the repair cost duno how much liao. Might as well buy new one
The blade, lock nut etc are spares and accessories nia. I ever bought thr plastic blade before to replace a cracked blade.
At home you dun clean your fan or others do it right?

Can ah? I see spec sheet the metal blade model rpm is slightly higher, not sure if it's OK to fix a plastic blade anot... Scared later too powerful the blade cannot tahan and will shatter. I ever watch before on YouTube ppl spin CD until it shatters
I like kdk and have many but read that Panasonic and kdk are actually same thing. But Panasonic is cheaper

i change before mah, haha but dun use the high speed lah... usually we use 1 or max 2 speed only
ya kdk and panasonic same same, even the blade can interchange

Wow so ppl actually do this. So the rpm does make a difference and may shatter the blade
Probably I'll get the more expensive model plastic blade model then, for peace of mind. Sowmtimes they do on 3 speed...

I thot of this too but it seems like creating another problem. Need to wash. Also, the cover may slighty block the wind

Yes my bro says it seems to block wind a little, but not big issues.
It helps to collect dust so we no need clean the blades too often. We just wash the cover more often.

see if u can find the original part... broke one of the blade of my fan and got a "compatible" part... dun fit 100% so i add in more wires to secure the cage

I think I tighten the mid lock nut too tight til my plastic blade crack. I thot of buying replacement blade from Mr DIY but read that the blade not good. Too thin may crack when spinning at high speed and wind not strong. In the end I bought online from a reputable shop claiming that they blade they sell is kdk oem
Better buy a compatible one bah, $20 iirc
Chiu will regret wif plastic blades.
Just get those finger can't pass thru or wall fan not reachable. No kdk no talk.

Children fingers can pass thru all the fan cage. Not looking at wall or ceiling fan too.
