What lens are you using ah? Last time I use all the branded ones until I realised mid tier brands are also fine and they are much cheaper. Edmw have a spectacles/lens thread with a few opticians providing good advice too
Any multicoated and anti blue ray lens will work for me
I feel that high index not necessary

Most/all lens come with multicoat, sort of a given liao. Anti blue ray have to top up money but I always opt for it too, dun really mind the yellow tint
My degree is ard 500 so I opt for hi index...bobian

Ever did photochromic lens before too. Very comfortable when lens darken under sunlight but I think the effectiveness will fade over time. 3 yrs maybe. Also, the add on $ is too high... Not worth it imo
Quite sure those branded high end such as Zeiss lens are clear.

myopia low but astig slightly higher
the crizal turn to black that one is gimmick also tia gong la
got cheaper lens. if not wrong last time crizal is maybe dunno 200-300 for lens but other change color brands maybe half the price. i mean that feature alone la.
so maybe u got astig + myopia....... u do normal frame + the standard multicoat then u use the crizal lens, maybe come up to 400+ or more
if u use cheaper brand lens with the change color one should be under 300
and it doesnt protect from UV (not much)
must use traditional sunglasses......... if u do those eye surgery, sure is wear those cheap normal sunglasses...... better than what crizal
but marketing bah

Should be ok. My optician is ok with it, sometimes I even ask him do a new pair of lens based on my existing frames and when it's ready, I go to the shop and he change the lens there and then.
But iirc he say some shops either dun allow or as what I said earlier, if do lens only then he can't give more discount. Frames + lens whole package then he will give more discount
