How many have you been to before? Here is my list

I've been to all on your list except the 2 naval bases and Tengah airbase.

I've also been to Mandai Hill, Dieppe Barracks, Khatib, Clementi, Jurong, Maju, Chong Pang, Amoy Quee, Hendon, Seletar, Sungei Gedong, Mowbray and Gombak Base.

mine was very erm, standard?

BMT - Tekong
SISPEC - Pasir Laba camp
SOCE - Jurong camp
30 SCE - Jurong camp
Reservist - Nee Soon camp

That's all I think? Did a short signaller training course at Stagmont camp and some mechanical training stuff at OETI (at the old Ayer Rajah Camp).

Served the first incamp at Selarang Camp.

But have very little recollection of these three camps.

I really would love to go back and visit some of the camps as a visitor. Too bad do not know anyone big shot enough to bring me in.

Work as bangala or these odd job workers can go in

Ict always see them walking ard camp like chalet like that

They see use do all the exercise and dismantle rifles. So much for security.....

actually moi goed b4 many camp to lobo, sexercise and attend training but moi forgot which one liao

Got a few I din put too cos I can't rmb them

I just recall I went army logistic base before. Kena arrowed to carry some light stuff along with driver just 2 of us. Then the army van can only drive at certain max speed knn. From Selarang to old cck road to and fro really gg

why did you hate your time at 30 SCE?

cannot click with platoon mates? or training too siong?

but i think training by your time sld be a lot less siong cos no more MGB.

bedok or khatib is run on the 400m track? maju is around the camp actually

Yah bedok is run on track, supposedly easier and better but always hear maju is easy

Oh that kind of easy ah. I thot is easier to pass, can run shortcut haha

Yah. Bedok nowhere to hide, encik and pti keep 'encouraging' to run.....

And I rmb last time quite lax, can wear own tee and wear earphones to run. After that not allowed anymore

I was in Manpower branch of 21 Div before I became a combat medic..

I did despatch for abt 1 year back then..
The day flew by quickly whenever I'm out for despatch..haha

I'm also medic. Seek save serve yo

I was attached to other camps for a few mths, only stay at my own camp thereafter til ord. But even then, every now and then will be posted to other camps whenever they are short of manpower....

nah, no shortcut even though got ppl cheat before

good thing is ppl cant see u entirely unlike on track, one glance can see u strolling

army and regimentation just not my thing haha

yeah, no more MGB during my time... the largest thing we still built (until I MR) was the bailey bridge.

that one got indent some civvy crane operators and a few labourers though, the latter to oversee and hands-on a bit with the safety straps and more technical stuff

but i thought once you turn operational it is a lot more lax? but yeah still need to march from point to point and adhere to book out timings. though i think if you and your platoon mates are close it should be a lot easier to go through.

my side many left pasir laba liao, was stationed there

think quite a few big names i know all at LTC COL level liao......... some is nv expect to move up so fast one sia... buddy buddy with me then from same sec sch (he 1 yr older), now is bmtc CO (think still there not v sure)

feel this one got chance go up to COL and BG

another one alr COL but is see bey guai lan type

anyway nv contact them liao......... i rem last time is got those NSF ORD still can go in one la, since we know the WO and officers

but those that were the WO and officers and DXO probably mostly gone from service liao

old liao wah, 转眼间 already so many yrs ago

Cookhouse food there is one of the best and there's the legendary commando cutlet.

Seems like many went to SAFTI before? For what biz? I'm medic so attached to the medical ctr for sometime. The food at cookhouse is great. Emart also better than normal ones. Can customised stuff, I customised a phone pouch

Oh FYI, just sharing not to haolian. Nothing to haolian for saf matters

I sailed and flew with navy and airforce before so I have their uniforms too. So, I have all 3 uniforms

There is a special uniform that I'm  missing thou. The khaki colour one... Even the boots is beige. Saw at Nee soon camp before
