$0.53 for 46 miles 🤯
I took my daughter to the park tonight and used a Chargepoint charger for the first time.
Charged for about 90 minutes, sucked up 10.5 kW of energy, Tesla app said +46 miles.
In my previous car (Ford F150, 19 mpg avg), 46 miles would've cost me $8.
Thats a whopping FIFTEEN TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE.
Would I trade 3 minutes at the gas pump to fill up for a few hours while I'm at the park with my daughter for 1/15th of the cost instead? You bet your cheeks I would.
The only thing EV haters hate more than EVs, is math.

As above EV invention is suppose to bring cost effectiveness to owners but because of their policy of making cars expensive to own it became expensive and ppl suffered.
If the country cannot support 6.9m ppl then leave it as it is at 3m but they die die want to make our country the size of Sentosa overcramp. Who gained the most out of this overpopulation policy
only problem wiht EV is run out of juice and stuck on road. have to call tow truck while ice can just go servo and buy a bottle and some fuel

Have to preplan swee swee to avoid this but really what's the point of buying ev here if the costs are the same as diesel cars but diesel cars pump petrol faster but costs the same
i always never feel that EVs are 100% the future leh. i mean it is sort of current situation and future but it wastes time and eventually got to recycle those stuff
i dont think the maths add up at all
elon musk is just v good at marketing same like others
and SG govt say no more ICE after 2030 right?

moi think ev cars good for short trips. but only for the lich ppl rah. how to charging in hdb car park or shopping center car park.

It's a green fraud. Using green initiatives as a way to milk more monies is the main objective. Whether the outcome is truly green is not the main concern.
