His name is timmy ho, 何宝生, former tvb hk actor. Acted maybe from 1990 to 2000.
Born rich, family owns bank and other biz. Used to spend lavishly and had 4 gf before. At age 38 he gave up everything and ordained to be monk.
After someone tried to rob his temple and he failed to stop the person. He was interviewed by media then people finally knew he became a monk.
Few yrs later he left the temple to seek enlightenment across the world as monk
